10-27-20 THOUGHTS

As I awaken in hope, I’m thinking of the PRIVILEGE of BEING a CHILD OF GOD!
The passages below are PRECIOUS PRESENCE passages.  Over a period of nearly a thousand years, God moves us from DISTANCE to ACCESS as we consider our being in His presence.  As we greet the day, let’s think carefully about our being WITH GOD!  The Hebrews passages below tell us MARVELOUS THINGS that we must learn to rejoice over!
Ex 25:21-22   "You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony which I will give to you.  22  "There I will meet with you; and from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak to you about all that I will give you in commandment for the sons of Israel.
Ex 26:34  "You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the holy of holies.
Lev 16:2 The LORD said to Moses: "Tell your brother Aaron that he shall not enter at any time into the holy place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, or he will die; for I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.
Heb 10:19-23    Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20  by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21  and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22  let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23  Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
Heb 4:14-16    Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15  For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16  Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Jas 4:8a    Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Eph 3:11-12   This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12  in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.

My Prayer:
Our God and Father, hallowed be your awesome name.  We are amazed when we consider that we can be in your presence.  May we see Jesus as we say that.  Keep us near Oh Father, cleanse us from all sin and unrighteousness.  May our humble souls know your great love in Christ Jesus. Put your mind in our mind.  May we seek you with our whole heart.
